A free Health Fair will be held on the Pocahontas campus Tuesday, March 16 in the RCDC building from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This event is open to the public and all age groups. The Nursing, Respiratory, Dietetics, Phlebotomy, Paramedics, and Fire Science students will be performing numerous health screenings along with manning informational booths.
Outside vendors participating this year are: Air Evac on campus with the helicopter landing sometime after 9:00 a.m., Randolph County Health Department will give free Flu shots, including H1N1 and hemoglobin test, Spit for the Cure! Follow this link for more information on this 1st time vendor, Pocahontas Eye Clinic will offer vision screenings, and many more! We have about 14 vendors from our area planning to attend this year, we hope to see you there! Informational booths will cover a number of topics, including: Hospice, Accidental Poisoning & Burn/Fire Safety, Cancer, and Stamp Out Smoking, etc. Several of the vendors will be giving out door prizes throughout the day!
