Covers the accounting cycles for merchandising and service-oriented business organizations. Primary emphasis is on generally accepted accounting principles applicable to measuring assets, liabilities, capital, revenues, expenses, and drawing. The owner's equity section is demonstrated by using either the sole proprietorship or corporation business entity. The coursework will include discussions of accounting concepts and the application of those concepts utilizing an electronic spreadsheet as a problem-solving and decision-making tool. 2024FA Business Ethics (BUAD-1033-I25)

This will be a course with many case studies and situation analysis completed by the students. Students will be faced with real business dilemmas and will be responsible for deciding on the ethical decision to make.
