This class covers medical and surgical conditions of the adult client. An emphasis is placed on the anatomy and physiology of the adult client, developmental stages, and the nursing, pharmacological, nutritional, spiritual and emotional care of the client as part of the holistic process of nursing care. Electronic Medical Records, written documentation, therapeutic communication, and oral communication are incorporated into this course.
